Region 1 of 3
From Ogden’s revitalized downtown to Logan’s university corridor, Layton’s growing suburbs to the historic towns of Cache Valley — Northern Utah is a distinct region with its own economy, climate, and character. Find trusted local businesses across Weber, Davis, Box Elder, Cache, and Morgan counties.
Northern Utah stretches from the Great Salt Lake’s northern shores up through Cache Valley to the Idaho border, spanning five counties and dozens of distinct communities. It’s a region shaped by agriculture, aerospace, higher education, and a strong local manufacturing base — with Hill Air Force Base anchoring Davis County, Utah State University driving Cache Valley, and Weber State University adding economic depth to Ogden.
The region offers Utah residents a different pace than the Wasatch Front. Layton, Kaysville, Farmington, and Bountiful form a commuter belt feeding Salt Lake City while maintaining their own small-city identities. Further north, Brigham City, Tremonton, and Logan operate as standalone economic hubs. Syracuse, Clearfield, and Roy form a suburban corridor along I-15. Morgan County and the mountain communities east of Ogden provide rural Utah living within commuting distance of urban amenities.
